Back in 2008, I completed a fashion writing course through MediaBistro. We were assigned to name and create a blog. Throughout the past three years this poor blog has been through different platforms, layouts, and directions. I should have known my perfectionist attitude would make creating a blog a fickle and lengthy process, but I’m confident formfittingstyle is in a good place.

I enjoy taking fashion courses (writing, history, merchandising, etc.) and other courses to keep the wheels in my brain turning. I have my BA in Communications from UTSA- Go Roadrunners! I’ve had the opportunity to explore broadcast journalism, public relations, and retail fields. Currently I work as a Data Analyst and I’m looking into pursuing a few other creative adventures.

For the past year I had the pleasure of living in Atlanta- I wouldn’t even know how to briefly describe my year so I’ll save you the lengthy details. If I had to use one description for the year I’d say life changing. While Atlanta is wonderful, Austin has my heart. I’m excited to be back in the Lone Star State.

I always had an interest in blogging, but never really did anything with that interest. The MediaBistro course really pushed me to begin. I don’t know why it took me so long to start. I enjoy the community and process- it’s great coming up with a topic and clicking the publish button once finished.
